What it looks like in real life
Multi-offer listing. TX.
$725K, 45 days on market, 3 offers.
Challenge
A listing agent had three offers on a $725,000 home. The strongest — a relocating family at full asking price — came with a home sale contingency, making it a risk to accept over a clean but $35,000 lower offer.
Solution
The listing agent countered with a Contingency Lift, offering $2,500 in seller credits. The contingency was removed within 12 hours, the deal closed at full asking, and the seller netted $32,500 more than the next best offer.

What it looks like in real life
Long-sitting listing. FL.
$480K, 78 days on market, 1 offer.
Challenge
A $480,000 listing had been sitting for 78 days when a single offer came in at $470,000 — $10,000 under asking — and carrying a home sale contingency, putting the seller at risk of restarting the clock entirely.
Solution
The listing agent countered with a Contingency Lift. $2,500 in seller credits removed the contingency, and the deal closed instead of going back to market.

For Buyer Agents
Win two deals at a time. Never lose one to a home sale contingency again.

FAQs
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua. Ut enim ad minim veniam,
Who pays for Contingency Lift?
Any party can cover it: buyer, seller, or buyer's agent. The most common path is a seller credit at closing, where the listing agent counters with an increased closing cost contribution (typically starting at $2,500). No out-of-pocket cash from the seller, and the negotiated price stays intact. We'll provide suggested contract language and cost guidance.
Do I need to work with a specific loan officer?
No. Submit the deal to us first; we'll evaluate the right solution. If the buyer's current lender doesn't support it, we'll connect them with one who does. Our network includes 35,000+ loan officers and we onboard new ones quickly.
Is Contingency Lift available in all 50 states?
The Guaranteed Backup Contract is available in all 50 states with approval in as little as 12 hours. When Instant Equity is the right fit, availability varies by state. Your Flyhomes AE can confirm coverage.
What if the buyer's old home doesn't sell within 180 days?
Flyhomes will buy it at the contract price and resell it. The buyer keeps any net profits* from the resale, and by default the original listing agent handles it — so the listing stays with you.†
*Net profits from the resale are calculated as extra proceeds minus Flyhomes’ transaction costs (closing costs, holding costs, realtor commissions). Flyhomes does not charge any additional fees for buying and selling the property itself.
†Flyhomes retains full discretion over the choice of listing agent. The final decision depends on market conditions, agent availability, and the property’s specifics.
